Every time fashion week rolls around I feel like it was JUST fashion week. Once again it is time to gear up for sheer madness in the tents at Bryant Park.

Spring 2010 fashion week will take place from September 10-17, 2009 and ChiChi212 will be bringing you all the news from front row to backstage.

P.S. Someone should tell the folks over at IMG that the collections that will be shown are Spring 2010, not Fall 2009. Who let the interns update the site? Fired!

Brother Jimmy’s turned 20 last night and threw one hell of a party at “The Original” location (2nd Avenue between 77th and 78th streets) Sofia Karesh and I didn’t really know what we were getting into but we are glad we went.

From 8pm-11pm guests were treated to the best open bar I have ever seen at a restaurant/bar in the city. Nothing was off limits, not even the DELICIOUS frozen margaritas in mason jars or the various shot people were seen taking all night. You can’t serve all that alcohol without food and Brother Jimmy’s did not disappoint. Brisket burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, crab cakes, frickles (fried pickles), hush puppies, buffalo/bbq chicken bites and plenty of other dishes that never made it to my location.

Each guest received a tote with a Brother Jimmy’s t-shirt, stickers, hot sauce and gift certificate for $19.89. The music was in full 1989 mode with Journey, Journey and more Journey. They also played some Mr. Big and I swooned! And as a bonus, all week, the original location is rolling their prices back to 1989.

Ashleigh Jennifer Parker and I made a brief trip to the Montauk Yatch Club to visit our good friend Steve Kasuba; And by brief I mean an hour drive each way from Southampton.

While driving, driving and driving some more down 27, we kept saying “if this place is not amazing we are going to KILL Steve.”

Well lucky for Steve, the Barracuda Bar is pretty cool. I’m not going to make a Manhattan comparison, because I can’t. But in Hamptons speak, it’s a high-class Talkhouse.

If you’re out East this weekend and you want to relax, have good cocktails and great conversation, take the drive. It’s worth it.

Many things can be said about polo; who won the match usually isn’t one of them. This weekend was the opening of the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field in Bridgehampton. The weather was prefect for an afternoon under the tents catching up with friends, sipping Pink Polos, courtesy of Stolichnaya Vodka and devouring bags of Pop Chips.

This is the first of many weekends at the Bridgehampton Polo Club and ChiChi212 would like to thank Rich Thomas of Strategic Group for making it possible.

Guest included: Jill Zarin, Star Jones, Beth Ostrosky, Ben Silverman, Kourtney Kardashian, PC Peterson, Douglass Marshall, Britten Heft, Jason Binn, Jill, Bobby and Ally Zarin, Herb Wilson, Shane Ward, Shawn Ward, Stephanie Newhouse, Kyle MacLachlan, Sebastian Stam, Steve Kasuba, Michael Spiegal and Danielle Angelson.

Chace Crawford was also in attendance and I am very upset I didn’t see him. I’m even more upset he didn’t bring Ed Westwick with him.

Peter Carey (“PC”) Peterson of NYC Prep was out and about in the Hamptons this weekend and ChiChi212 had a chance to hang out with him. Sporting facial hair and a cast (he was mugged in Barcelona!) he was hitting the nightlife circuit, the polo scene and everything in between. I guess bouncers don’t watch reality TV as PC is 18.

The cameras don’t do him justice because he’s pretty damn good looking and not nearly as obnoxious. Now I won’t feel so guilty about watching the show.
